TOO GOOD PROGRAMS

Too Good for Violence is a school-based violence prevention program for grades K-8 that provides a framework to teach, model, discuss and celebrate positive character traits.  This program helps students learn the skills and attitudes they need to get along peacefully with others.

The Too Good Programs were developed by the Mendez Foundation and are Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) approved. Logic Models for these programs can be provided.

Safe Dates is the only evidence-based curriculum that prevents dating abuse.  It is a highly engaging and interactive curriculum that is designed to raise student awareness of what constitutes healthy and abusive dating relationships; the causes and consequences of an abusive relationship; and to equip students with the skills to develop healthy dating relationships.

Safe Dates was designated as a Model Program by SAMHSA.  It was selected for the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP).
